A series of public awareness events across Glasgow in May and are seeking volunteers from SCMH

May is both May Measurement Month and on 17th May is World Hypertension Day. These days are promoted by the World Hypertension League and International Society of Hypertension to raise awareness about hypertension globally and help people check their blood pressures and understand their numbers. 

During the month of May a series of public awareness events across Glasgow have been organised and are seeking volunteers from SCMH to join these efforts. 

If you are interested the dates are as follows:

14th of May 2023, Sunday 11 am to 4pm - Glasgow Gurdwara

17th of May 2023, Wednesday - 9am - 12pm - GCRC Room 222, University of Glasgow

17th of May 2023, Wednesday - 1pm to 5pm - GCRC Room 222, University of Glasgow

23rd of May 2023, Tuesday - 12pm - 4pm - Fairfield Club, Govan

26th of May 2023, Friday - 12pm to 4pm - Glasgow Central Mosque
