The University is committed to supporting the success and wellbeing of all colleagues, fostering an inclusive and respectful working culture.

As part of this we want everyone to feel valued, recognised, and praised for their efforts, and to share and celebrate our individual and collective successes.

To ensure all colleagues feel supported to maintain good professional behaviours and relationships, consistent with our University Values, we have launched a new Code of Professional Conduct for colleagues.

The Code of Professional Conduct outlines 10 Principles which underpin our ongoing efforts to nurture an organisational culture consistent with our shared values and behaviours.

As members of a world-changing and inclusive community, we must endeavour to continually develop self-awareness and remain open to constructive feedback on the impact of our behaviours and actions on others.

The Code of Professional Conduct also calls on our leaders, managers, and colleagues to champion and role model our values and expected behaviours, enabling everyone to live these, and to take responsibility for challenging those who do not, through constructive feedback and, where appropriate, bystander intervention.

Our people are our greatest asset, and our values define how we work together, supporting one another as individuals and as a community.

We appreciate you taking the time to read the Code of Professional Conduct along with supportive information about what to do if you witness or experience behaviour that falls short of the Code.
