My research focuses on the role RUNX1 transcription factor in heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. I’m investigating its expression and function in mice models of Transverse Aortic Constriction-induced systolic heart failure and we are studying the potential therapeutic utility of targeting it for the treatment of cardiac hypertrophy and heart failure.
