Azi (Ghazal) earned her Pharm.D. degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and worked as a clinical pharmacist in the ICU for several years, before opening her own pharmacy in Iran. In pursuit of her passion for academia, Azi came to the UK to study a Master's degree in Precision Medicine at the University of Glasgow. Upon completing her master’s project at the Glasgow Tissue Research Facility (GTRF), she began working there as a lab technician. In this role, she performs various laboratory tasks, including molecular pathology, histology, Tissue Microarray (TMA) construction, and digital pathology services, in collaboration with Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and NHS researchers.
