The UofG Chancellor’s Fund has awarded £3,000 to the Institute of Cancer Sciences towards the organisation of the First Annual ICS PhD Student Summit. This initiative, led by students Eirini-Maria Lampraki and Jiska van der Reest, aims to provide an opportunity for postgraduate research students to further develop their transferable skills in a peer conference setting. The programme will include student talks, short project pitches, poster sessions, and multidisciplinary and interactive transferable skills workshops. The two-day retreat will take place in the Autumn of 2016 and applications will open this Spring.
