Biography

Lara Faverzani joined the Adam Smith Business School in 2024 as a Lecturer in Finance. Previously, she was adjunct professor in Corporate Finance at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. Lara obtained her Bachelor and MSc in Banking and Finance at Università Cattolica, where she also received her PhD in Economics and Finance (2022). Lara was visiting research fellow at the University of Alberta in Edmonton (Canada) in 2023. Her research interests lie in Corporate Finance, with a focus on Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as corporate governance.
