Biography

Jonathan Lee joined the Adam Smith Business School in 2022, as a lecturer in Finance. He completed his MSc in Money, Banking and Finance at Lancaster University and obtained a PhD in Finance at the University of Bristol. His research interests lie broadly in applied financial economics. His recent research focus on topics related to the role for private sector solutions in the safety net, the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risk on banks, the effects of climate risk on property value and the implications for the banking industry, and the effects of litigation risk on banks’ lending behavior.
