I am a financial economist and assistant professor of finance at Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow.

I currently serve as Director of Finance Programmes, leading the Business School’s postgraduate finance portfolio and overseeing the MFin, Corporate Finance and Banking, and International Financial Analysis programmes. I am the serving President of Cambridge Endowment for Research in Finance Society (CERFAS). Previously, I was a research associate in finance at Cambridge Judge Business School and an associate fellow of King's College (Cambridge). Prior to that, I completed my PhD in Finance at Imperial College London.

Research Interests

My research is focused on quantitative research, asset pricing, and macroeconomics. I develop quantitative and statistical frameworks, drawing on applied economic theory, empirical methods, and machine learning, to examine the interdependencies between financial decisions, macroeconomic policy, and regulatory frameworks. My work focuses on the macro-finance mechanisms shaping capital allocation, asset prices, portfolio decisions, and risk premia, generating insights that support institutional decision-making and inform regulatory policy, as well as the feedback loops connecting them.
