Biography
Hangyuan joined the Adam Smith Business School in 2023 as Lecturer in Accounting. He received his PhD in Accounting from New York University Stern School of Business. He also holds a BBA, MSc, and Mphil from Lingnan University in Hong Kong.
Dr Shi is broadly interested in mechanisms and forces that shape the information environment in the capital market. His recent research works focus on how information intermediaries acquire, process, and disseminate information in the capital market as well as the economic consequences of financial reporting and disclosure regulations.
