University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School announces the opening of the Glasgow Experimental Laboratory (GaEL)
We are delighted to announce the opening of the Glasgow Experimental Laboratory (GaEL). This state-of-the-art facility will conduct research on human decision-making in a controlled environment.
GaEL aims to generate replicable research on choice behaviour and promote best experimental practices, linking research and teaching. The lab features 24 individual workstations with powerful computers and monitors, plus technology for biometric data collection, including Shimmer3 GSR+ Units and Noldus Face Reader 9.1.
GaEL is recruiting participants through an online form on our website. Participation is voluntary, with amounts varying by experiment length and participant decisions.
GaEL fosters collaboration between researchers, students, and international partners, and works with the School's Behavioural Insights Consultancy to offer business consultancy on consumer decision-making.
Visit the GaEL webpage for more information on how to participate in research, learn about upcoming events, and explore the latest research findings.
