"Addressing Real-World Challenges Before Creating Comprehensive Sustainability Metrics in Supply Chains"
Thursday, 20 February 2025. 12:30-14:00
Room:282 Hothouse Adam Smith Business School
Abstract
Post-doc Research Proposal (will take 8 months): The main objective of this study is to critically evaluate sustainability from a multidisciplinary perspective on the path to creating a sustainable supply chain metric. The study aims to analyze existing measurement models and understand their impact on behavior (companies, governments, organizations) while drawing a conceptual framework in this direction. Although this study focuses on sustainable supply chains, it is essential to explore existing models, accurate criticism, and measurement methods from a broader perspective on sustainability to at least outline the theoretical framework for creating a measurement model. Therefore, the study will begin by addressing the criticisms found in the literature. This seminar will be a post-doctoral research presentation that is going to be held upcoming 8 months.
