"Digitalisation of HRM and People Analytics: Challenges and Opportunities"
Thursday, 7 December. 14:00
Room 282 (Hot House) ASBS

Abstract

Empowered and enabled by the HR digitalization, people analytics is an emerging strategic HR practice that is shifting the landscape of people management. It is driving the dramatic changes of how organizations and HR departments make strategic workforce decisions. Despite significant growth and progress made in research and practice over recent years, a few key questions remain unanswered. For example, how do organizations adopt, implement, and evaluate the digital transformation of HRM? How does people analytics influence business performance, or does it? How are people analysts engaging with people data via analytical and storytelling skills? How are organizations be prepared for the arrival of AI at work? During this talk, Professor Fu will present her published work on HR digitalization and analytics as well as work-in-progress to move this field forward. It will be an interactive talk where questions and debates are welcome.
