The University of Glasgow has opened up applications for scholarships to attend the Adam Smith Business School ‘Enlightened Leader’ executive programme.
The programme seeks to draw on the legacy of Adam Smith and the Scottish Enlightenment as a lens to inform and inspire the next generation of leaders. Through their participation in a 2-day retreat, senior leaders and those preparing to step into executive positions in the next 1-3 years have the opportunity to enhance skills that are vital to face leading in the current economic and political climate.
As well as sessions on Ecostewardship, virtue in leadership, and burnout and wellbeing, the retreat will include a world class keynote business leader who will be formally announced in the run up to June.
Professor Eleanor Shaw, OBE Head of Adam Smith Business School welcomes this scholarship, emphasising that "Supporting the next generation of leaders isn't just a duty; it's an investment in the future. By offering these scholarships for our inaugural leadership programme, we look to nurture and empower emerging leaders, and support them in driving enlightened, engaged and entrepreneurial progress and positive change in both the economy and society."
