Adam Smith Business School is delighted to announce it's a new signatory to the Charter for Inclusive Entrepreneurship. By signing up to the Charter, the School is pledging its support to minimise barriers to entrepreneurship, with actions across five areas:

  • Promoting diverse role models across the enterprise ecosystem
  • Delivering inclusive enterprise support
  • Enabling lifelong learning of entrepreneurship education
  • Ensuring equal access to enterprise finance
  • Implementing measurable targets for inclusive enterprise.

Dr Lorna Treanor, Charter Founder, said: “We are delighted to welcome Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow as a new signatory to the Charter for inclusive entrepreneurship. The Charter aims to facilitate a more inclusive ecosystem so that any individual, regardless of personal characteristics or background, can equitably access appropriate education, training and support to help them start a business. The commitment of the Adam Smith Business School to making an impact in their communities and to inclusive lifelong enterprise education and business support is reflected in their adoption of the Charter with its associated commitment to continuously improve their inclusive practices.”
