Overview: The Executive Leadership Programme for Scotland and the Caribbean is a collaboration between the University of the West Indies and the University of Glasgow. This intensive programme aims to equip senior leaders with the knowledge and skills to drive innovation and growth in their organisations.

We will explore Leadership for Innovation and Sustainable Growth, giving participants the tools needed to foster a climate of creativity and innovation among their teams. You will learn how to balance the demands of short-term performance and long-term sustainability, and the competing demands of innovation and efficiency, as well as how to align your organisation’s innovation efforts with social and environmental responsibilities.
Strategy Storytelling
Using Strategy Storytelling, you will learn how to craft and communicate compelling narratives that inspire and persuade your stakeholders. Additionally, you will learn how to use storytelling techniques to articulate your vision, values, goals, and strategies, as well as how to overcome common challenges and pitfalls in strategic communication.
Digital Strategy and Entrepreneurship
In this programme, you will take a deep dive into Digital Strategy and Entrepreneurship and discover how to leverage digital technologies and new business models to create value for your customers, partners, and employees. Additionally, you will learn how to foster an entrepreneurial mindset and culture within your organisation, as well identify, evaluate, and execute new business ideas.
Change Management
You will learn how to diagnose the need for change, design and implement effective change interventions, and foster a culture of agility, change readiness and resilience. Participants will also learn how to deal with resistance, uncertainty, and ambiguity in the change process. Furthermore, you will learn how to develop and improve your change leadership style and capabilities.

The programme is a collaboration between the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business and Management of the University of the West Indies and the Adam Smith Business School of the University of Glasgow.

What is included in the programme fee?
The fee includes the welcome dinner, networking lunches and coffee breaks. Accommodation and travel are not included and need to be organised by participants themselves.
