"I firmly believe in cultural diversity. People from different backgrounds have faced diverse scenarios and offer unique perspectives on problem solving and decision making. We constantly learn one from another"

Why did you choose the Adam Smith Business School?

Due to its prestige, and the great market opportunities in the UK. I knew that learning through a competitive ecosystem was going to help me drive skills on digital entrepreneurship and sustainability.

What did you enjoy the most about your programme? How has your degree helped you in your career?

I loved the diversity, the many opportunities and the networking. It helped me to boost my professional profile and secure a job in the finance and banking field.

What have you been up to since graduating from the Business School?

I am currently working at HSBC as a Portfolio Manager in the Risk and Compliance Department for a global project set to present in 2025

What was the most important thing you learnt while studying at Glasgow?

Always be willing to interact with people from different cultures. Be ready to explore the trending topics that globalisation offers and embrace them to discover new avenues.

What is your top piece of advice for current students – our future alumni?

Bear in mind that in a world where everything is connected, being innovative and creative plays a key role in enabling you to shape a sense of making the first step to bring solutions. Keep discovering disruptive ideas that could be applied in your future career.

Tell us about your fondest memory at the Business School.

It was a tough time, as most of my classes had to be taken from home due to Covid restrictions. However, the most exciting moment was when I was finally able to interact with my classmates in person; a touching moment
