Research within the College of Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences is conducted primarily within our Research Institutes, with the majority of veterinary bioscience research being conducted within the Institute of Biodiversity, Animal Health and Comparative Medicine (BAHCM). Additional research is conducted within the Medical Research Council - University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research (CVR) and Wellcome Trust Centre for Molecular Parasitology (WTCMP), both of which are incorporated into the Institute of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation (IIIs).
Staff within Institutes contribute directly to the world class teaching at our School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM), and our clinical veterinary staff based within the School - who lead clinical teaching as well as clinical services within our animal hospitals - are key contributors to the clinical portfolio within veterinary research.
