Film: East End Journey
East End Journey was a Science-Art short film that journeys across Glasgow’s life expectancy statistics, to the East End where people experience comparatively poor levels of health and reduced life expectancy. GARNER member Prof Paul Sheils contributed to and featured in a discussion about the possible role of epigenetic factors in understanding this disparity.
The film was shown as part of the BIO·FICTION Film Festival which took place in Vienna 23-25 October 2014, and was shown in several other tour locations around Europe.
The film is free to watch online (streaming) if you register with the Scottish Documentary Institute (which is as simple as entering your email address).
