Crees Foundation
The Crees Foundation was founded a decade ago and is a Peruvian non-profit conservation and sustainable development organisation working to reduce poverty and protect biodiversity in Amazon rainforest. The Crees Foundation is supported by a well-established Amazon ecotourism and environmental education business, Crees Expeditions who run the Manu Learning Centre, a biodiversity and sustainable development research station in the Manu Biosphere Reserve. This has allowed the Crees Foundations to work continuously with local communities and conservation in Manu for the last 10 years.
