Lab Coat Laundry
In the Graham Kerr Building dirty lab coats can be put into the black bucket under the table in the lobby between the enquiry box and the back yard. Only 10 coats will be sent each week.
- Drop off coats before Thursday lunchtime, for pick up by van on Friday morning
- Wash turn around can be up to 2 weeks, sometimes a week
- GKB account number is 39667
- Please make sure that owner name, lab number and the GKB account number is written in permanent ink on the inside of the coat/collar.
- Please empty pockets before sending coats for cleaning
If your coat has been through a wash system in a different building, please use black marker pen to delete the label bar code that is already on your coat. We will attach a ‘repair label’ with a request for a new bar code, which will have the GKB account number on it. This will make sure that the coat is returned to the Graham Kerr Building.
Please make a note on the clipboard by the black bucket of details of coats that you have put for washing, this would include the number of coats, the lab they are to return to, and whether they need a new bar code.
