Amplify

Over the last few months, five groups of MVLS researchers have enjoyed the unique opportunity of working with Glasgow Science Centre’s Experience Design Team to create plans for an interactive exhibit that will engage public audiences with our research. These designs were showcased at an event at Glasgow Science Centre and one project was selected to be produced and installed for the public.

Winner – Bat Viruses: Behind the Scenes, Project Lead: Megan Griffiths, School of Biodiversity, One Health & Veterinary Medicine.

This design showcases research into zoonotic bat viruses, from field work on vampire bats in South and Central America through to the lab. It will not only engage about the research itself, but also provides an insight into the variety of careers and work that contribute to research.
