We're on the road again...!

So happy to announce the BAHCM AwayDay 2022 hybrid is on for April 21!
Institute AwayDay 2022 (#BAHday2022)
This years IBAHCM Away Day will take place on Thursday, 21 April.
The day promises a full schedule of varied and interesting segments. There will be presentations by our new Directors of Innovation, Education and Research. We will feature a detailed introduction to GALLANT, an exciting new multi-million Research Program helping the city move towards climate resilience whilst tackling health, social and economic inequalities. And, as always, the frantic chaos of our Two Minute Talks section, where PhD’s and ECR’s cram in as much or their research detail as they can into 120 seconds.
After careful consideration, we will be having a hybrid event, meaning both online via a Zoom link and a very welcome physical gathering at The William Quarrier Conference Center.
We would ask that anyone attending in person takes a lateral flow test the same day. Please also note the below requirements.
- Check your name off at the registration desk when you arrive. You do not need to use the Check In Scotland app.
- Face masks should be worn when moving around in the Centre (unless exemptions apply).
- Please use the hand sanitiser available throughout the building and in all the meeting spaces.
We cannot stress how important these precautions are. This is the current protocol of the venue and is subject to change.
For information on travelling to the venue: https://www.quarriers.org.uk/epilepsy/patients/travel/
For virtual participation please use this zoom link: https://uofglasgow.zoom.us/j/93048089513?pwd=TmNzOC9aL0JRYnBjc1ljU2ZobE05Zz09
Remember to use the hashtag #BAHday2022 when tweeting or on social media.
So, if you’re coming to Govan in person or dialing in through Zoom, we’re sure you’re going to enjoy every minute. Hope to see you all there…
