Jim Gatheral Scholarship
This scholarship provides funding for PhD students to undertake placements lasting between 2 months and 1 year at a centre of advanced study, preferably out with the UK, in order to enrich academic experience, research achievements and learn or develop new techniques in the field of mathematical modelling.
Open to all postgraduate research students registered at and attending the University of Glasgow who are studying for a doctoral degree (PhD).
Masters degree students (whether taught or by research) are ineligible to apply.

Value
Up to £4000. The number and value of the awards allocated each year will be at the discretion of the Panel.
