UNESCO Chair on Refugee Integration through Education, Language and Arts

For Phase 1 of the UNESCO RILA Chair programme 2017-2020 we partnered with GRAMNet on a number of events and projects, such as Refugee Festival Scotland and the GRAMNet Film Series.  GRAMNet was kind enough to lend us space on the GRAMNet Blog during this period. 

We look forward to continuing our fruitful partnership with GRAMNet over Phase 2 of the Chair programme.

  Dublin City University  hosted ‘Asylum Narratives’ – a conference focused on the role of the arts and languages in the Irish asylum system, with a particular advocacy and research focus on the Irish system of ‘Direct Provision’.

  At Summerhall there has been a wonderful array of award-winning Arab Arts Focus events unfolding throughout the Festival.
