Synbio Professors elected Fellows of the Royal Society of Edinburgh

The Royal Society of Edinburgh have announced it's intake of 56 distinguished individuals including Professor John Christie and Professor Kostas Tokatlidis.
We are proud and delighted to announce the election of Professor John Christie, Professor of Photobiology and Deputy Head of the Institute of Molecular, Cell and Systems Biology and Professor Kostas Tokatlidis, Cathcart Professor and SULSA Professor of Biochemistry as Fellows of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
The RSE recently announed it's intake of 56 distinguished individuals elected to become Fellows. Hailing from sectors that range from the arts, business, science and technology and academia they join the current Fellowship whose varied expertise supports the advancement of learning and useful knowledge in Scottish public life.
Both of these Professors are instrumental to the work done by the Synthetic Biology and Industrial Biotech group and we're delighted their efforts have been rewarded with such a prestigious award.
