Summary
Glasgow City Council & C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group held this virtual Thriving Cities Initiative Glasgow Launch, on 11 November 2021.
The launch was an important step towards a more thriving Glasgow and explored how Glasgow will deliver a local legacy from COP26.

Lead Councillor Susan Aitken (first on left) set out her vision for thriving in the 21st century and was joined in discussion by the following experts:
Kate Raworth, economist and author of Doughnut Economics: Seven Ways to Think Like a 21st-Century Economist, who discussed how cities can move towards thriving.
Jaime Toney, (third on left) Director of the Centre for Sustainable Solutions at the University of Glasgow, who discussed a City Portrait for Glasgow.
Eveline Jonkhoff, (first on right) Amsterdam's Strategic Advisor on the Circular Economy, who discussed their journey to thriving.
Kevin Austin, (second on left) Deputy Director of C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, moderated the panel discussion.
