Sonopill Team visit Dundee Science Centre to plan new surgery exhibit
From the foundation of an exhibit based on Alfred Cuschieri’s pioneering work in minimal access surgery, Louise Smith, the Director of Dundee Science Centre (DSC, www.dundeesciencecentre.org.uk/) approached IMSaT to discuss the possibility of a partnership to renew and expand DSC’s display in medical technology. As part of this initiative IMSaT staff including the SONOPIL team visited Dundee Science Centre on Tuesday 18th February. Meeting with DSC staff and touring the existing facilities gave a greater insight into the possibilities of the proposed new exhibit and enabled staff from both centres to discuss the exciting opportunities such a collaborative undertaking could offer.
