The SECURE Grand Challenge was held on the 23rd May at the TEACHER Building in Glasgow. Fifty delegates attended. Five challenges were presented.
In the morning the presenters posed challenges on a range of topics: linkage of air pollution and health data in Scotland, Healthy Soils, Catchment Sensitive Farming, Improving Seabed Analysis and Integrating sensor technologies. The delegates then chose one of the challenges. They formed challenge groups and spent the afternoon discussing methods to tackle the challenge. Their aim was to come up with ideas for potential feasibility projects. At the end of the day a member of each group provided feedback to all the delegates. Marian Scott, the SECURE PI concluded the day by giving information on how the feasibility projects would work and thanked all the delegates for attending.
All the talks can be viewed via the links to the right and information on the Feasibility Call can be found in the Feasibility section reached by the left hand navigation.
