Ioana Susnoschi-Luca
Ioana is a PhD researcher at the University of Glasgow studying rehabilitation engineering. Her research focuses on the effect of voluntary brain wave modulation on the brain-spinal cord communication pathway in healthy people and in spinal cord injury patients. She graduated with a Masters of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from University of Glasgow in 2019.
Ioana is interested in the use of non-invasive methods to restore motor function and their impact on brain function. Her research fields include EEG-based neurofeedback, transcranial magnetic stimulation and biosignal processing (EEG, EMG).
