Sandpit: Decarbonising the Health and Social Care System | February 2025
Published: 7 January 2025
In partnership with the Scottish Alliance for Energy, Homes, and Livelihoods, SCAF is organising an in-person sandpit on the topic of decarbonising health and social care.
In partnership with SRAEHL (the Scottish Research Alliance for Energy, Homes, and Livelihoods), SCAF is organising an in-person sandpit on the afternoon of 25/02/25 at the Climate Change Institute in Edinburgh, on the topic of decarbonising health and social care.
The sandpit is linked to the NIHR call on Decarbonising the health and social care system, but will also explore this space in the context of upcoming funding opportunities.
The NIHR call is specifically looking for high-quality research that supports both innovative carbon reduction measures and/or existing interventions, service models, and care pathways focussed on decarbonisation of the health and social care system.
The aim of the sandpit is to co-produce and initiate outline application(s) on the day, ahead of the submission deadline on Wednesday 26th March. To facilitate this, there will be preparatory work using a Miro board ahead of the sandpit.
Please note this event is invitation-only with limited availability. Please contact the SCAF office if you would like to join.
