The University of Glasgow’s Centre for Public Policy is inviting applications for a Research Associate with an expertise in economic policy.

A core focus of the Centre’s work is on the economy and public finances, covering national, regional and local policymaking. We welcome applications from outstanding early career researchers with backgrounds across all aspects of economics, including:

  • economic policy
  • economic geography
  • fiscal policy
  • economic analysis

The Centre supports collaboration, creativity and policy engagement across the University of Glasgow, the public, third and private sectors, supporting researchers and policy makers to examine and address the policy challenges of today and the decades to come.

The postholder will make a substantial contribution to the development and activities of the Centre for Public Policy, building and enhancing the Centre’s reputation for excellence in research, knowledge exchange and impact within the policy communities in Glasgow, Scotland, the UK and internationally.

Key information

Salary will be Grade 7, £40,497 - £45,413 per annum

This post is full time and fixed term for up to 2 years
