Staff Research Seminars
The GGSN hosts termly research talks by members of staff on their present research projects. The talks allow members of staff to share their research ideas with scholars of different disciplines, which can lead to important, creative synergies. The first talk of this type was given by Professor Simon Ball in November 2010 and Dr Phillips O'Brien in February 2011. 
These talks are usually followed by a dinner afterwards, to which all attendees are warmly invited.
