About the speaker: Didier is co-editor with Rob Walker of International Political Sociology one of the journals of the International Studies Association published by Wiley Blackwell, and editor of the quarterly journal in French Cultures et Conflits published by l’Harmattan.  He was responsible for the WP1 of the FP7 INEX on internal and external security and has been the scientific coordinator of the FP6 Challenge.

His areas of interests include:

  • Security and liberty, biometrics identifiers and databases
  • Antiterrorist policies in Europe after September 11 2001
  • Merging of internal security and external security
  • Migrants and refugees in Europe
  • Critical security studies
  • International Political Sociology
