The GCCDR is a joint initiative between the University of Glasgow and The University of the West Indies, co-located in Glasgow and the Caribbean.

Centre activities
In its first ten-year phase, the GCCDR's activities will focus on three pillars:
- addressing the chronic disease pandemic in the Caribbean
- the search for economic growth development policies in the Caribbean
- tackling the cultural divide between Africa and the Caribbean
Joint Master of Arts Programme in Reparatory Justice
The University of Glasgow and The University of the West Indies will be jointly offering a Master of Arts Programme in Reparatory Justice.
