Digital Education 1400x300

Teachers Survey

Are you a secondary school teacher responsible for technology and/or citizenship teaching?

We’re interested in your views on the ethical challenges that young people (ages 11-18) negotiate in today’s digital world.

Participate

Our teacher survey is designed to gauge the most important beliefs, practices and aims that enable young people to make informed decisions and prepare them for adult life.

Guided by an ethos of harm reduction, we want to understand the threats young people face online, the technologies they engage with, your hopes, ambitions and fears for their futures, and where, when and how you teach them how to engage with the digital world.

Your responses to this short survey (10-15 mins) will inform our ongoing work with teachers, young people, policy makers and software developers to build resources and help young people take control of their digital lives.

If you have any questions about the survey or any other research initiatives simply email digitalcitizenship@glasgow.ac.uk and one of our research team will contact you with more information.

The Department for Education and the UK Economic and Social Science Research Council have identified digital citizenship as a priority area for education research, and your responses will help to expand our understanding in this vital area.
