ESR 2 - Cristina Martínez Oliver
ESR2 will explore the role of defects in the context of opto-electronic device performance, this will be done first via simulation where optimized designs will be developed, and later these will be fabricated by the ESR at IBM.
Bio: BSc in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona (Spain). Before the 4th year of Bachelor, during summer, she did an internship in the association CIC nanoGUNE. She worked in the nanomagnetism group in the topic of Temperature dependance of magnetocrystalline anisotropy. A paper about her work has been published. Her Bachelor thesis was done in the Barcelona Microelectronics Institute of the National Microelectronics Centre-CSIC in the topic of Inkjet printing for the integration of piezoelectric nanostructures and MEMS.
MSc in Functionalized Advanced Materials for Engineering (FAME), an Erasmus Mundus program. The first year was done in the Grenoble INP University (France), with a 12 weeks internship in Institut Néel (CNRS) at the end of it. She worked in the topic of Functionalization of suspended thermogenerators. The second year of the FAME master was done in the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany). She did her master thesis in the Bosch company in the topic of Influence of hygroscopic material components on the electrochemical reliability.
