Aykut Ozturk
Aykut Öztürk has recently received his PhD in Political Science from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, with a dissertation entitled “The Affective Politics of Democratic Erosion: Explaining Mass Support for Executive Aggrandizement.” His areas of interest intersect political psychology and regime change. His research on political identities, polarization, and democratic erosion have appeared in Comparative Political Studies, Perspectives on Politics, and Middle Eastern Studies.
