Software Upskilling for Researchers: Reproducible manuscripts in R/Rstudio
In this workshop we will demonstrate how to use R Markdown and the papaja package to combine data wrangling, visualisation, and analysis with your manuscript. The workshop will be split between an interactive demonstration and time to work on your own draft.
Our workshop is aimed at those who have a basic understanding of R/RStudio and want to use it to write reproducible manuscripts. If you are new to R/RStudio, you are still welcome to come along to the workshop and see its capabilities. We will signpost resources for learning how to use R/RStudio, but we will not be covering the basics in the workshop.
We will then share the workshop files for you to download and follow along to closer to the workshop date. We will have time for you to work on your own draft of a reproducible manuscript, so please bring along a paper draft and any data you are working on.We welcome researchers from any college across the university at any skill level.
