Science of Data Science and AI
The foundational AI models that can be applied in different context and adjusted for different applications are the engine of our research and innovation. We have extensive expertise in information retrieval, distributed computing and data systems, networked systems management and resilience, and multiscale modelling – with data science and AI providing the foundation for these and many others. They provide fast and accurate approximations of numerically intensive physical processes, develop recommender systems, and advance new ways for clustering and classification.
Additionally, in line with our sustainability goals, our researchers are developing computationally efficient modelling methodology to deliver more sustainable computing resources.
