Capturing the sentiments of Russia under attack the extraordinary set of posters reflect the period, where all were called to bolster the war effort, even artists and poets.
Relatively few of the original 1250 Windows survive but thanks to a Nottingham professor, a world-class collection of 129 are held in the University of Nottingham's historic collections. The posters are now fragile but their colours still vibrant: digital reproduction techniques have made possible this rare exhibition, the first from the Nottingham collection. more >
The exhibition will be supplimented by a Lunchtime talk and a Study Day.
The exhibition is part of the CRCEES Winter Festival.
