This workshop aims to offer a platform to establish collaborative links between researchers based in Glasgow and in Ul'ianovsk, Russia, doing ethnographic work.
The workshop will offer insights into current research being conducted on themes of identity and agency in Russia by both Glasgow-based and Russian scholars. The seminar presentations are intended to generate interest in developing and widening existing research links. The second part of the workshop will therefore focus on possible future research agendas and on locating sources of funding to support cross-cultural collaborative research.
