A rigorous statistical framework for estimating the long-term health effects of air pollution
This is the website for the Engineering and Physical Sciences Reseaerch Council (EPSRC) funded project entitled A rigorous statistical framework for estimating the long-term health effects of air pollution, which is a collaboration between the Univerisities of Glasgow, Southampton and the Met Office. The project began in Januray 2013 and will run for 3 years until December 2015. This interdispiclinary project brings together statisticians, epidemiologists and climate scientists, and aims to develop new statistical and computational tools for quantifying the long-term health impact of air pollution in Great Britain. The links on the left give information on the project aims and objectives, the team running this project, upcoming and past events we are running and the progress made so far.
