Short Description

The field of Intellectual Property Law is of growing contemporary importance, particularly for organisations involved in the creation and supply of media content. This cours aims:
- to introduce students to the ideal of intellectual property;
- to give students a knowledge of relevant law in the UK, Europe and internationally;
- to explore the policy background to the continuing development of intellectual property

2,500 essay on topical and/or theoretical aspects of intellectual property law (worth 50%);
a scenario analysis and critical commentary (also worth 50%) on relevant aspects of IP law
