University accommodation

Most of our university population lives in private accommodation across Lisbon. However, Iscte also has the Professor José Pinto Peixoto University Residence that houses some of our visiting students and teachers.

The residence is in Lisbon’s East End, by the Tagus River. It is in the 17th-century Monastery of Santos-o-Novo, a building listed as a national monument.

The residence is open all year round but it cannot accept new arrivals on Sundays or bank holidays. If you are staying at the residence, you must tell them your arrival date at least 48 hours in advance.
