University of Glasgow
In the first semester of the CLMCE programme at the University of Glasgow, students embark on an exciting journey into the world of children's literature. This starter term lays a strong foundation, introducing key concepts and critical approaches to texts for children and young people.
The courses cover a range of topics, from critical enquiry into children's literature and literacies to exploring the intersection of children's literature with other media. Additionally, students delve into the publishing aspects for early years, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the field.
As the home university, the University of Glasgow provides a supportive and enriching environment for students to begin their academic journey in this specialized field. This term sets the stage for further exploration and study in subsequent semesters.
