CLMC was a unique, unforgettable and truly international experience. I made new friends from all over the world, took modules across six different universities, and lived in three different countries.

The programme crosses disciplinary boundaries, exposing students to a wide range of ideas. I was able to build upon my skills in literary studies to explore my interests in multimodal and digital texts, completing an internship in this area with De Bibliotheek LocHal, a major library in the Netherlands. Throughout the programme, students are encouraged to interrogate how texts are produced, selected and received as they move across time, space and cultures.

My experiences allowed me to develop both academically and personally, preparing me for a PhD position at the University of Granada where I am now researching gender and intermediality as part of the EUTERPE project.
