Being a Nigerian recipient of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship for the CLMC programme, I count it a privilege to experience, learn and enjoy diverse perspectives to studying children’s literature, media, and culture.

I really commend the integrated pedagogical styles of the professors, which enhanced my practical application of the knowledge during the programme. Also, I had an amazing experience through learning, travelling, and living with colleagues and natives from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds.

Of course, I can now contribute to the global childhood discourse through my major research interests in children’s literacy promotion, childhood culture and history within African context. This two-year holistic learning experience eventually actualises my ambition of promoting children’s literacy at home and abroad through children’s literary activities.

CLMC is a lifetime enjoyable experience that is worth taken and I am grateful for that.
