- University of Glasgow
I graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor's in Biochemistry, and from the University of Glasgow with a Master's in Biotechnology. I am primarily interested in the structural biology of microorganisms with exotic metabolisms and genetics, especially archaea. I am currently studying the DNA replication machinery in the Asgard clade of archaea, which are known to be very closely related to eukaryotic life. Outside of the lab I enjoy rugby, video games, and reading classic science fiction.
