Dhaneesha Senaratne

Dhaneesha Senaratne is a PhD student on the Multimorbidity PhD programme and a registrar in Anaesthesia with a specialist interest in Chronic Pain. His research is based at the Chronic Pain Research Group at the University of Dundee, where he is looking into the impact of adverse childhood experiences on adult onset chronic pain.

Dhaneesha completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Cambridge. As a postgraduate he was on the Academic Foundation Programme in the Oxford Deanery before embarking on a career in Anaesthesia. He also holds a non-clinical role as a Specialist Advisor to the Care Quality Commission in England. When not in work, Dhaneesha will most likely be found playing cricket or at the nearest parkrun.
