Tao is reading for a part-time PhD in Management. His research interests include strategic decision-making, digital transformation, and the internationalisation of multinationals.
Tao holds degrees in several business disciplines, awarded by universities in China, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, which he has successfully utilised in his professional career to date.
Tao has acquired over a decade of experience working in multiple industries, including six years in hotel management in the luxury hotel sector, and cumulative years in the fields of strategic management, project management, and financial management in consumer goods and manufacturing multinationals.
This background, together with his well-developed multi-lingual abilities, has resulted in the accumulation of specific skill sets, gained from extensive work experience within the spheres of the internationalisation of multinationals, in both developed and emerging markets, working in both Switzerland and China, respectively.
